foodgemsg: This is my first attempt of cooking quinoa, I’m excited to share this simple and nutrient meal with you guys:) Quinoa is one of the most protein-rich foods with all the essential amino acids, contains almost twice as much fiber as most other grains, has a low glycemic index, which is good for blood sugar control, has beneficial effects on metabolic health, very high in antioxidants. And it may even help you lose weight!!!
I was sceptical to whether I’m able to cook quinoa successfully. It seems that I’m worrying too much, the steps are quite straightforward even for first timer. Moreover quinoa is easy to incorporate into the diet.
Preparation: Rinse the quinoa and simmer a portion of quinoa for every two of water. Simmer until the water is fully absorbed. Boil some greens; broccoli, carrot, tomato and mushroom. Make some fluffy and light scrambled eggs. Place the salmon, skin-side down in the pan.
Eating healthy is a great way to kick start a new week ahead! .
